Come and learn to play petanque - it's fun!

Adrian has the patience of a saint. He showed us how to hold and throw the boule and taught us the rules of the game. In no time we had got the hang of it and were enjoying playing.

Pétanque was originally introduced to Ayr by the Ayr Town Twinning Association and this was their insignia.  The Pétanque Club is now independent of the ATTA but we are very happy to have renewed an "entente cordiale"!

Ludovic's father said, "You'll just have to come to St Germain next year and win them back!"

Everyone agreed, the weekend had been a great experience!
